Note that people that possess a British passport are "subjects" and are not
"citizens."  Albeit a constitutional monarchy, there are differences in the
way things are governed (and ruled) on opposite sides of the Atlantic.

It's their country, and they get to run it the way they want.  If you don't
like it, don't go there - or if you're already there, move.

Personally, I think it would be a nice place to visit.
