I'm making a bunch of maps of Jackson County in Missouri. Each map has different thematics, legends, titles and text boxes. I have drawn arrows point ing to some specific locations that need to be repeated on each map. I thought after reading a little about cosmetic layers in the Help section that I could save the arrows by: Map > Save Cosmetic Objects. Save the layer and then add to the other maps and I wouldn't have to keep redrawing them. Two questions, I guess. 1. Is this the way it can be done? 2. My Save Cosmetic Objects choice is grayed out. All existing extensions will have a "1" in front of them; for example, extension 312 will become extension 1312.
