Garfile.exe at http://www.icsinger.de/freeware.htm also works with Garmins
for both tracks and waypoints.

Subject: RE: MI-L Importing GPS-files into MapInfo

We are using gps utility http://www.gpsu.co.uk that allows us to
download/upload points from garmins. It does not run inside MapInfo but
does write mapinfo MIF files.

Anyone out there knows of a tool that can convert a .GPS file to a MapInfo
table ?
I know that you can use the GeoTrack.mbx to show a driven route, but this is
shown in real time, and the route isn't stored.

I'm looking for at way to import the data from a GPS file, and it would be
fine if I wouldn't have to wait two hours to get a two hour route ;-)
