Hi Hendrick!

I assume that your base tables are constant throughout the process, that is
have the same column names, indexes and so on.
Because the thematic map code is fussy about that.
I have done something similar, and the way I made it was to carefully
design the map and the thematic layer, and save it as a workspace.
Then I used the map part of the workspace as the base for a subroutine in
MapBasic, that I could feed with the variables that needs adjustment.
Then I looped through this subroutine, in my case I used another table to
get the map window coordinates as I needed a lot of prints from different
viewpoints of the same base material.

Subject: MI-L Automated Thematic Maps

Dear List,

i never made a thematic map before and now i should create them in a
batched flow production.
Some adjustments should be variable like the caption others should remain
static like the legend.
After all the map should be printed into a file and on paper. Developing
tools should be Mapasic.

Therefore i am looking for hints, links, snippets of code ...

Any help woud be appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.
