Dear MapInfo-Lpers,

I need to display some selected non-adjacent suburbs from a single file
of suburb boundaries.
I can select those which I need by using SQL, and in the WHERE section,
place the parameter "SUBURBNAME = Alpha OR SUBURBNAME = Tango OR
SUBURBNAME = Xray and etcetera" providing I only want a few.
Does anyone know a way to avoid this repetition (SUBURBNAME = Alpha OR)
and just include those names I need in some listed fashion after the
column name in SQL? Or is there some other method I have missed seeing.
I have needed to do this with town names as well and resorted to the
handraulic pick, SHIFT+pick and save so I would appreciate any help,
tips or tricks.
Thanks in advance.
