Hi Carolyn! This may have to do with the resolution in your map table. The database structure has a finite number of 'boxes' to put points or nodes in, and the size of these boxes depend on the geographic extents of the map table. You need to check that the map object, the point, really has the same coordinate value as has been input.

Does anyone know how i can get these lines to snap to the points? thanks Carolyn ________________________________ From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Canada 2006 Sent: Thursday, 24 November 2005 2:30 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [MI-L] Canada Jobs Hi, I am moving to Vancouver in the new year, and I am interested in picking up some MapInfo work there. I am primarily a MapX/MapXtreme developer. I have been using both product since version 4.5 of MapX up to the latest .NET version. I am also a MapBasic programmer and trainer for my current employer. In addition I have also developed a number of MapXMobile applications. If there is anyone on the list that can give me an idea of what the current job market (in particular the GIS job market) is like in Vancouver, I would really appreciate it.
