Posting a request from a co-worker: I ran into a rather unusual problem with MapInfo. I was running a Mapbasic program to aggregate some counts within polygons and mid way through the program, MapInfo hung up. I shut down MapInfo and tried to re-start the program and it continued to do the same. Now, if I open any table in MapInfo and try to select a record from the browser and try to browse the selection, it just hangs up with the hour glass. I tried to completely un-install and re-install MapInfo/Mapbasic, tried re-booting but nothing is fixing the problem.
Wondering if any one encountered this before. Any ideas to resolve the issue will be greatly appreciated.
