As I have a client that would be happier to pay for the RW Net tool to do
it than my time, I may well go this option and keep it up my sleeve for
later.  There has been one offer of a simple mapbasic routine that may
work (I will try it tomorrow), although I suspect it may not handle the
network that I have (19000 road segments).  There has also been other
commercial offers.

I also had a look at some algorithms and it scares me that 30 years ago, I
could have understood them.

You have a few list karma points in credit that it would be good to be
able to repay.

I'll have a tink about it tomorrow, but its too late now to think straight
(its almost tomorrow now)
