I have a client who has a problem with a logo image in a layout not printing properly in large size plots. What happens is that the image plots part way just fine, then it repeats the slice it just printed two more times. The result is that only the first third of the image is being output but it's being repeated to the edge of the frame. MI tech support didn't have any info on this problem but since there's over a thousand people out here on this list who work with MapInfo in a production environment every day, I'm hoping someone recognizes this problem and has come up with a fix for it.
The environment is MI Runtime 7.0, Windows XP, HP 500 DesignJet 24", and the image is a jpeg. This problem seems to have occurred after a system crash about an month ago. Prior to that, it worked fine. And actually there is a workaround; if the plot is created as a PDF file, then that will print just fine.
