Yes, it is a MapBasic command. Write it to the MapBasic window of MapInfo
and press ENTER.
For all of you who always struggle with lots of windows messed-up on your
screen, I have just uploaded a small utility of me that allows quickly
renaming mapper, browser or layout windows by a single right-click.

Let it autoload each time MI starts - I just can't live without it!
Enjoy!

Hello list,
I have tried to find a method to change the MapInfo Windows to something
meaningful and have come across the following code:
Set window frontwindow() Title "New Window Name
The problem is that I do not know where this needs to be written! Is
this a MapBasic command? I am not sure, as I have no experience with
MapBasic.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards,
Kevin
