Hi Kevin,

Yes this is a MapBasic command and if you are in MapInfo you have to open the
MapBasic window and write the code with the map window as the previous active
window. Look under menu Settings - Open MapBasic window.

If you are programming a MapBasic application, you can use the command in the
code as you have written it below.

Best regards

Emne: [MI-L] Renaming MapInfo Windows

Hello list,

I have tried to find a method to change the MapInfo Windows to something
meaningful and have come across the following code:

Set window frontwindow() Title "New Window Name

The problem is that I do not know where this needs to be written! Is this a
MapBasic command? I am not sure, as I have no experience with MapBasic.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Kevin
