A bit of an off-topic MapInfo-related query but hopefully I can get some
replies, especially from Australian service providers.
I have a client who wants me to go out and collect a bunch of GPS
coordinates of local government facilities (eg. Fire hydrants, light poles,
etc) and then input the data into MapInfo and produce a map.
I am not sure how the GPS "data collection side" should be billed to the
client? Is it based on a "per GPS coordinate obtained" or on an hourly rate?
In either instance what would be typical billing rates?
Any input would be extremely appreciated, and you may address any replies to
me directly.
