Hi Jon,
You may have already received this answer but for the
benefit of other listers who may need this in the future ...
For executing a print command in MapBasic use >
Run Menu
Command 112
You can execute almost any command within the standard MapInfo GUI by using the run menu command string, the guide to the integer values (you can also put in the string code) can be found in the MENU.DEF file in help. Morgan From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, 26 May 2006 6:28 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [MI-L] File->Print statements in MB Listers, I want to make a script (typical MapBasic macro -
a workspace) in MiPro V8.0 for producing map (layouts) for
hardcopy. The script selects certain objects, then creats a
specific layout (2 portrait a4-pages) showing the selection map, browsers etc.
and should then perform a File->Print-statement from the layout window to a
specified file (ie. Pdf, Office Document Image, ... ) (file name from some
selection properties) I have everything ready, except for the (Windows) Print
statement. I know this will differ concerning the installed local
printer-drivers, but can anyone hint me if this is possible; and if so, how
should such a Print statement should look like in MapBasic
? Thankful for any feedback / hints / sample
statements. Regards
