I was wondering if anyone would know what the problem is. I have imported a raster image (in the correct projection
NAD 83 …). I then need to bring in some data from ESRI format
(shape files). These are claim outlines provided by the Ontario MNDM
office. While opining these in MapInfo Professional they are projected
properly (as provided, again NAD 83). I do a save copy as and then when I
shut down and bring the raster image in along with the new MapInfo file from
the shape file they are not seen together. I do a View entire layer (all)
and I sent off in to no mans land. When double checking the raster image I
see that my coordinates line up so I am led to believe that it is something
with the shape file. But I don’t know what to do from here.
