Thanks for the suggestions.
At this point, increasing the resolution of the
PDFs hasn't solved the issue, although I'm keen to explore this a little further
(at his point the output has been at 600dpi in all of the PDF printers
mentioned). Might also try decreasing it?
Also, the lines don't disappear when we zoom in on
the PDF reader and unfortunately, do appear on the printed output.
Will keep trying and post anything that does solve
it.
