I have an application that updates a field in a database on
the date that the change was made. The same issue occurs when I try to
change the text on a text object to the current date. I have used this function for a while: FormatDate$(CurDate())
and have no problem. It seems that it works on some machines and not
thers, and may be related to MapInfo version 7 (where it works) and later
versions (where it may not). The trouble is that it works on mine, so I can’t test
it. Any known issues with using dates on later versions, or is it
probably something else. I was thinking that where I am updating the date field I
could just use CurDate()? But not sure how to update the text field. R ------------------------------------------- |
