That's why I think you can often get better industry-oriented
service if you deal with one of the channel partners. Many of us are
actually using MapInfo to make a living as well as selling it, and
if you find one doing the same kind of work you need to do, you also
get real, live in-the-workplace experience as well. The prices are
usually the same (unless you're making a large order, then there's
all sorts of arrangements that can be made), so there's really no
special financial reason why you shouldn't try one of the partners.
Experience counts for something, I should hope.
