Burning a bit of mid night oil here. I thought some of you may like to have a late christmas present....a swatch........before you think I've gone mad or this is some crank pyramid scheme, nope and I hope some of you will appreciate it if you talk across the world a lot on the internet. In case you missed this Swatch have decided to create a uniform internet time based on their own premises as the meridian. They have developed free software you can download to run on your computer that will give a standard continuous time across the world. The software creates a small watch using your machines time and location settings to calculate and display this standard time which could ease your making inter-continental rendevous. Apparently it is becoming very popular here in Europe where not suprisingly Swatch are now selling wristwatches which only give this time.
