Hi, We have a task which we must solve. - a road centre line (polyline) must first be segmented into 5-10 metre segments. - the resulting table must then have 2 columns added (Left, Right) which then must be populated with a numeric value(e.g. 1,3,5,7 or 4,8,12,16) - a # column in a point file must then be populated with the value of the line segment which it is perpendicular to( e.g. the first segment in a polyline would be populated like Left 1, Right 2 - a point which is perpendicular to that segment and is on the left side of the line would have its # column populated with a "1") I thought that before we reinvented something, I'd check to see if such a beast exists.
