Hi, I have census tract maps for a number of cities (max. number of tracts 700) and wish to obtain some basic topological information in order to perform spatial analysis (spatial autocorrelation, distance decay models..). The matrices I require are the following: 1 - distance between each tract and each of the other tracts 2 - for each tract, list of adjacent tracts Ideally these would be in the form of square matrices, with the distance information in matrix 1 and the adjacency information (1 and 0's) in matrix 2. Can this be done using Mapinfo Professional version 5 on NT? Are there any add-ons which enable one to perform such analysis? Many thanks, Richard Shearmur INRS Urbanisation 3465 Durocher MONTREAL H2X 1C6 e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] tel: 514-499-4052 fax: 514-499-4065 ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MAPINFO-L" in the message body, or contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
