Sorry not to be of much help, but I know that there is a MB command that
will allow your app to run while MI is not the active window. But for the
life of me I cannot figure out what it is. Someone out there knows because
I learned about it from this list, but I could not find it in the archives.

I've had a similar problem whenever MapInfo loses focus.
For instance,
if my screen saver comes on while my MapBasic routine is
running, it
will always pause until I kill the screen saver. Does
anyone know how
this can be avoided (other than turning off the screen
saver)?
