Hi John,
Is the polyline multi-sectioned? I believe this can result from joining
polylines, and I think this reduces the total number of segments
available... Yup - to quote MapBasic 5.0 help -
"A single-section polyline can contain up to 32,763 nodes. For a
multiple-section polyline, the limit is smaller: for each additional
section, reduce the number of nodes by three. "
Double-click on the polyline to see.. perhaps you are nearing the limit?
But this also sounds like the table has got corrupted - try saving the table
with a different name, and packing the table. This problem has happened here
for no apparent reason (especially where Netware and tables stored on
Servers are involved), and this usually fixes it.

Subject: MI Out of disk space problem
Date: 03 March 1999 10:07
Hi All,
I have been attempting to edit a large polygon using objects...erase and
have been constantly getting the error "Out of disk space while trying to
edit table xyz". I suspect that it is a problem with the file rather than
the hardware (I have 96MB of ram). Has anyone else encountered this problem
and, if so, is there a solution?
Thanks
John
