Hi Laura,
Wow, one I might be able to answer!!! :-)
You have two options:
1. Go to file, save window as... just say ok to the window specs that pop
up next, and then save as a .bmp, .jpeg, etc. Then in powerpoint open a
blank document and go to insert, picture, from file.... and find your saved
.bmp(or whatever graphic you save it as). It should open the layout
picture.
2. You can take the drag hand in MI and drag the map window into your open
powerpoint slide. Down fall.... you can only drag the map window not the
layout, so you would have to create the legend and title in powerpoint. I
think in new version 5.0 though you can now imbed your legend into the map
window and create everything in the map window if you like th edrag version
better.
Hope this helps!

Subject: MI:Exporting MI layout to PowerPoint
Hello!
Is it possible to export a MI layout to Powerpoint for presentations? I
have a request by our Human Resources department to provide one of my
maps for their powerpoint presentations. This question is coming up
more frequently now that my maps are deemed "useful" to the
organization! Also, is it possible to e-mail a map to a person who does
not have MI so that they may view it and print it? As always thanks
for any assistance that you can provide.
