You can also use Ghostscript (free) to create a pdf file that can be read
using Acrobat. Just install a postscript printer driver, select print to
file and then open the file using Ghostscript program. You can then print
the file as a pdf file using the pdfwrite option.

        As for emailing maps, it is quite easy for me using the Acrobat .pdf
        format.  I just print the layout window to a file using the Acrobat
Writer
        printer option.  It is saved in .pdf format and moves across the
phone line
        without distortion.  Your recipient must have Acrobat Reader to open
it,
        which is downloadable for free off the Adobe site.  And,
importantly, you
        must shell out approx $300 to buy the Writer product in order to
create a
        .pdf file.

        Regarding Powerpoint, just export the layout in one of several
formats (bmp,
        jpg, metafile) and insert in your Powerpoint page.
