Hi I have written a mapbasic program to offset lines, region boundaries and polylines. The calculations are done using cartesian coordinates in my local UTM zone. This program only works in the local area, how can it be altered to make it work anywhere in the world? Will it have to be rewritten using calculations on Lat and Long instead of cartesion coordinates? Thanks for any suggestions.
