MI MapInfo for Mac & Y2K

Hi,
I was recently looking into Mapbasic for the Mac when I was reliably
informed that not only is it no longer available, but also it is not Y2K
compliant.  Which begs the question - is Mapinfo 4.0 for the Mac?.
