According to the latest official news I have, MapInfo Desktop, MI
for the Mac, PowerMac and UNIX have been retired as of about two
weeks ago. One of these days I think we'll see a java version,
and then these platform and OS issues will just go away (to be
replaced with new issues, no doubt).
