Does anyone know of a raster handler for PNG files for MapInfo
Professional?
We have a customer who wants to read thousands of 1:500 scale drawings that
have been scanned from base maps with cables drawn onto them. The raster
format they use for storage is PNG, since it is so much more compressed
than LZW TIF or JPG.
Ironically MI Pro can save its own map window in this format, but not read
PNG as a raster image source.
