To the best of my knowledge, there is no ODBC driver to access MapInfo tables. Given
that the
DAT files are dBase-like, I did try (sometime ago) accessing these through the dBase
and FoxPro
ODBC drivers. I got an error message along the lines of "no ISAM found." (ISAM=Indexed
Sequential Access Mode)
If you meant the other way around - ie. reading data sources into MapInfo, then there
are lots of
ODBC drivers on the MapInfo Pro 5.0 CD-ROM, and others available on operating system
installation CDs and on web sites for download.
