Hi All,
Universal Translator is giving me the following error message when I
attempt to import MicroStation files and I specify any projection that is
in US Survey Feet:
Invalid value found in MapInfo Coordinate System Definition `coordsys earth
projection 8, 33, "survey ft", <<whatever the projection parameters are>>
Anybody have any experience with this? I called MI tech support and they
gave me their standard "I'll look into it and call you back". But they
never call back.
I have paid MI support thanks to the generosity of my MI dealer, Guy
Larson, of Primus Geographics, but on all but one support call to MI, I've
gotten the same answer: "I'll look into it and call you back"; and never a
single return call. I realize that their support is geared toward some of
the more common questions and problems, but it is still frustrating to be
lied to. Well there, I've got that off my chest and I feel much better now,
thank you.
