I don't know if this is the right forum for this, but I have a question
about pdf files.. I am trying to print a 90 page map book that was
originally created in MapInfo and printed to a pdf file. The only symbol on
this map is a north arrow. The first few pages come out okay, but eventually
while printing this file, the north arrow somehow converts to an ampersand.
When this happens, if I close everything and reboot, print the same page
again.. it will revert back to a north arrow, and I can print it fine.. but
then the same thing happens to another page. I have tried to print this file
from different P.C.'s, to different printers, and cleaning out all the temp
files on my C: drive, all with the same results. I assume since the north
arrow is the only symbol in the map that this has something to do with the
problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem and maybe have a
solution?
