I have been using MI since version 4 and have found
that the same thing keeps bothering me. Although I
find that MI is a wonderful product I could not do
without, I am frequently wrestling with its inability
to generate files that I can easily integrate with my
design products like Adobe Illustrator and Quark
Express. I have tried the postscript exporter and that
doesn't work very well and with any appreciable level
of consistency. Really what I would like is a file that
will regenerate itself in my vector graphics products
and allow me to use my maps as part of presentations
and other forms of publication. Do any of you share my
comments and frustrations and do you know if MI has any
plans to address this issue? Also, if anyone has
knowledge of a third party product that will allow me
to bring MI files into a design environment please let
me know.
