I ran the following test :
1 / preparing a window of a set size (7.37x6.46 cm, why not?),
2 / exporting it as jpg with the size "offered" by MI
3 / opening it in MS Photo editor,
4 / looking at image properties and attempting to restore the original size
in cm by playing with pixels/cm.
I ran 4.5, 5.01 and 5.+(some beta version). In all cases the pixels/cm
required to get the original size were of 47 i.e. ~120 ppi, which is the
density used by MI in all its window exports.
Of course in this case, I did not get exactly the original size because I
was working in cms and not in inches. 120 ppi = 47.24 ppcm but MsPE accepts
only integer values. I was getting an image sized at 7.40x6.49 But this is
beside the point.
