I believe that MI has used the 120 ppi definition of an exported image for a
while and stii uses it (5.+). Check what your program gives you as the size
of the image in inches or cms; compare with what you saw (or you entered) as
the export size of the window. Change the ppi to 120 and see what the size
becomes. It should be equal to the exported one.
I do not kow why "image" programs give so much variations on the same data;
I got once a 24 ppi for a MI image. Then you have the way they will print,
or the way you will be able (or not) to control the print setup in order to
get the same printed image size as the original...
