I am trying to find the best way to import dxf files into MapInfo Pro 5.0. This is both from the Ordnance Survey and site surveys. I really want to import the associated attributes. This is especially important for elevation details. I have tried the import and selecting the elevation box but this doesn't seem to work. I have had some success using the translator but then I loose the line style etc. I recently tried importing DTM sample data from the OS and the attributes weren't brought in even with the translator. I am looking at using elevation data specifically with the view to purchasing Vertical Mapper but don't want to proceed if the data I have will not be compatible.
