Check out a company called IntraSearch. They have a MapXtream driven aerial
photo web site.

                 << File: ATT00002.htm >> << File: Matt Fowler.vcf >> Hello
everyone. I am designing a GIS/Web server for a REALTOR Association
and I have secured the cooperation of a local company with
large amounts of
aerial photography. I am wondering if anyone has experience
publishing
large amounts of raster data on an Internet/Intranet server.
I know that I
can get tifs and register the files as tabs but I am
wondering if there is a
way to use the already georegistered data from the
photography company. My
                initial questions are:

What is the optimum format to bring this stuff into MI?
Is there a georegistered image format that MI can import
(GeoTif) ?
What is the optimum tile size for viewing on the web?

Any comments or suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance.
