While this may seem a very pedantic question, any
replies would be very much appreciated. Out town is in
the beginning stages of assessing the value of GIS to
the town as a whole. While I use Map Info within the
planning department, the town council is very leary of
actually jumping on the GIS bandwagon as a town wide
system.
My question is, can you suggest actual municipal web
sites that demonstrate the implementation of GIS for
departments such as Police, Fire, Health, Assessor
etc. Both Map Info and other GIS programs are
acceptable.
