You might try your local Federal Depository library and look for
PL-94-171 Census data. I believe this data set has what you need
and it's a dBASE file. You might also troll the census bureau's
web site at http://www.census.gov. This is the "free" solution,
but does not have ZIP code aggregates.
There are some real nice commercial sets available. Call me at
303-786-9961 8-5 MST and I'll fill you in on what we have for
sale (MapInfo and GDT stuff).
