The 2 complete 'triangles' are not the same shape. Neither are triangles.
The diagonal line has a kink in it. (Where the red and green triangles meet)
In the top 'triangle' the diagonal line kinks downwards. This shape has a
total area of 32 squares (same as all the pieces).
The lower triangle has a kink upwards, and has an area of 33 squares.
a true triangle would have had an area of 32.5 ( height 5, width 13 )
