It may depend on what you are copying to and from as well. If you are working solely
in Excel or Access, the cut & paste operations only use references - not the data.
This keeps the space requirements down and the speed up, but does cause problems when
you than want to paste the information elsewhere.

How come I can copy a given table in Excel or Access to the clipboard, but
when I try to do the same in Mapinfo I get the "Too much data to copy to
clipboard" message?
Is there a registry setting that can be tweaked to fix this?
