Dear Mapinfo users: We are developing an Argentina routes' map. All the segments had been digitalized. We want to use this map for geocoding purpose and we have experience making street level maps. I 've some problems and I need your help to solve the following point: ==> In the route we don't have numeration of the street, only their relative distance (kms.) from a starting point. i.e. National Route Number 2 from 135,5 km. to 157,85 km. and in our tests Mapinfo didn't work well with this decimal numeration A solution (but i don't like it) is using meters, in this case: 135500 to 157850 ==> In this case FromLeft is equal to From Right and ToLeft is same than ToRight, because a route doesn't have side as a street. The geocode process put the point in the middle of the line object, not in the proportional part of this segment. ==> When a segment has the right numeration, the geocoding process put the point on one of the sides of the route depending on the distance number (even or odd). This is not right because in this case the point should be placed on the segment due to the number is represents a distance and not a number of the street so you can't really tell on wich side the ponit should be. ==>The default distance between a geocoded point from the street is 10 mts. How we can change this parameter ?
