I don't think you will have much luck with this one. We simply combine the flows and
plot two way volumes - in most cases the differences between the two directions are
not great.

If you have MI5 (I don't - couldn't see the value) I expect that you can use the point
line thicknesses to generate bandwidths. Otherwise buffering the lines works fine.

If you want two way flows in a generic sense (i.e. from region to region for instance)
the arrows.mbx available on the Bill's site
(http://www.ctmap.com/mapinfo/ftpsite.html).

Subject: MI Thematic mapping of 2 Way flows on a net

Hello All,

Any suggestions how a link and node network may be shown thematically by line
width (by flow, for example) where the network has a separate link for both
directions, meaning both links are situated in exactly on top of eachother.

Ideally, I would like to be able to have the line width going off to the left
of the direction of the line, rather than centred on the line. This would
give a true two-way flow.

Cheers,
Matt
