Thanks, Steve for this clarification.
I had almost finished a short news summary when you brought me to my
senses.
The fact that the beta is publicly available (to MapInfo passport
holders, that is) obviously does not imply that the beta will be public
discusssion matter.
On the other hand, since all interested parties can obtain their own
copy of the beta, why don't you find out for yourselves, and lend a hand
to MI Corp in their beta test program?
