Hi all,
I have successfully managed to create a live ODBC table using MS-Access
however I have a query. I noticed that within MapInfo I have lost sight of
my "X" and "Y" columns. These were used in the "Make Table Mappable" dialog
after I selected an "Index Type" of "XY Coordinates". Can anybody please
explain if I may maintain these columns in the browser, and also the "Info
Tool"?.
I am also unsure about the "Index Type" field in the mentioned dialog. My
Access table takes the form of a COUNTER for col1 (Primary Key), followed
by several TEXT columns, and then two FLOAT columns for the co-ordinates. I
thought I could select "MapInfo" as the type, and then my first column as
the index column. Instead I have had to assume a type of "XY Coordinates",
and select my two coordinate columns.
Any help here would be very much appreciated.
