The good old wish list returns.  I believe it has value but I wish it was more
effective.  Mostly I would encourage all "wishers" to review both the Oracle 8i
and MapInfo Xtream sites and think for a moment.  There is a very, very large
opportunity emerging there that is real.  I wish I knew more about what the
opportunity means beyond the technoid stuff as well as how to exploit it.

This alliance that John has pulled off is much larger than it first appears.
My guts tell me that ESRI has no real answer in the short run for this design
change. On the other hand our MapInfo community will be given these keys in
June.

Is SDO/SDE dead?  Is Spatialware really the "next" step for our industry?  How
much can I buy an Oracle/MapX developer seat for?  Maybe the Oracle is a better
choice over Access?
