If I were you I would get a free down load of the beta version 5.5 of both
MapInfo Pro and MapBasic. If you have 8i(?) Oracle and if so you'll need to
also add their 8iSpatial module. Looks like you have a super set of
MapInfo/Oracle tools. I would also direct you to do some reading at Oracle's
8i WEB.
