Bob,

Northwood Geoscience has a free MapBasic utility called Symbol Plotter that
can plot symbols at rotated values based upon information contained in a
database. It simply places a selected symbol at predefined locations on the
map and rotates them based upon information in the database. Fortunately
the utility comes with a full suite of geological symbols so that you will
not likely have to recreate the symbols you are currently using. You can
down load this utility at: http://www.northwoodgeo.com/vertframecover.htm
