Hi
AML (Arc Macro Language) is a programming/scripting language akin to
MapBasic. Although a workspace in MapInfo is essentially lists of
MapBasic commands (Similar to an Arcview project which is a list of
avenue statements).
It is really like comparing Apples & Oranges.
However it could be possible to write a program pick out textual
identifiers and convert them for particulat layers / uniquely identified
features but of course it depends on the nature of the aml - I doubt if
such a tool exists but you never know...
