yep
i would agree with both of those.
what would also be nice is if MI gave you coordinates (the return from
the Centoid (obj) function) in the correct form. at the moment i even if
i have a table whose projection is United Kingdom National Grid i get
coordinates in Lat and Long (unless i tell MI in the MapBasic window
which coordinate system i am using). a real pain.
