Mal,

You can set the editor so that common nodes on the same layer will be moved together
(Options, Preferences, Map Window, Move Duplicate Nodes in...). This keeps common
nodes identically located and therefore cuts down the editing a fair bit.

Now all we need is a simple key stroke (like holding down the Shift key) rather than
having to go in and out of this preferences menu each time to toggle backwards and
forwards (seems like this was an old wish list item??).

Have fun!!

Subject: MI Additions to the wish list

Good morning all
I do a fair amount of on-screen digitising of Landsat images. Editing the
polygons however can be very tedious as MI does not allow adjacent polygons
to have common boundaries. Hence if I want to move a boundary, I have to do
it twice - once for each polygon, and this has to be done node by node to
ensure that the new boundaries overlie each other exactly. It would make it
much easier if the superimposed nodes along the common boundary could be
locked together so that moving one would also move the other.

Another improvement that I would appreciate is related to polygon fills. I
would like to be able to toggle fills on or off without losing all the
settings as at present.
